Love this game. I was a big D&D fan and although this is an action game it does a good job of capturing some D&D essence.
It has a high replay value due to the side-scrolling action and several different character classes that can be played. Also adding to the replay value is the fact that the characters can gain levels through accumulation of experience points. They then gain new skills and abilities. Something that sidescrolling action games may lack.
I also like that each character has several skill sets or spells at his/her disposal. However, changing a skill during mid-battle, something that is often necessary, is difficult to do and often leads to the character taking damage.
My biggest complaint with this game is that the monsters become so overwhelming in number and that it's easy to become overwhelmed and quickly lose your life.
